LIQUOR LICENSE APPLICATION PROCESS A liquor license is required to serve or sell liquor within the Village of Oak Brook. Title 4, Chapter 1 of our Village Code of the Village of Oak Brook Village Code explains the regulations regarding the liquor control within the Village of Oak Brook. Your cooperation in compliance of this ordinance is appreciated. You will be required to submit these documents below:
To better serve our business community the Village of Oak Brook has automated the Liquor Licensing process. Beginning May 8, 2023, all New and Renewal Liquor Licenses will be done online. The first time you access our partner website you will be asked to Create an OpenGov ID. Your establishment’s license history will be attached to that ID and will be used for each subsequent renewal and for updating any information. We suggest creating a generic ID that can be used by multiple designees. Access to our online Liquor Licensing process system is available here. Once the documents are received, they will be processed and forwarded to our Liquor Commissioner and Village Board of Trustees for their review and possible approval. At that time, a representative of your organization may wish to attend the Village Board meeting to answer any questions the members may have of your application. If the Village Board approves an increase in the number of liquor licenses, our Village Code is amended to create an additional liquor license. The Liquor Commissioner will then determine if it is appropriate to approve a liquor license. If approved, the process is to submit the appropriate liquor license fee which is prorated. Please contact the Village Clerk’s office at (630) 368-5038 if you require any assistance with the liquor license application process or please email your inquiry. |
